Unified Data Architecture for State Pharmaceutical Holding

As Indonesia’s state-owned pharmaceutical holding, PT Bio Farma (Persero) oversees multiple operating subsidiaries, each managing diverse IT infrastructures and legacy data definitions. This engagement unified these disparate data assets into a coherent, standardized enterprise architecture while preserving operational autonomy at the subsidiary level.

Sadasa led the business and enterprise data architecture teams. We conducted extensive requirements discovery across 14 subsidiaries spanning 9 core business value chains, engaging stakeholders from the Board of Directors through operational business unit heads. The qualitative and technical insights gathered directly shaped the target group-wide data architecture.

In a complementary subsequent engagement, Sadasa designed and deployed an executive financial dashboard for Bio Farma’s Corporate Finance Division, delivering executive visibility into group-wide revenue streams, cash flow metrics, liquidity indicators, and critical financial ratios.
